The Governor of Illinois was arrested on Tuesday for attempting to sell the Senate Seat left vacated by Barack Obama when he was elected President elect. This story has dominated the conversation for a week. Barack Odrama has said he did not meet with the Governor to discuss Senate choices despite the fact that his key advisor Axlerod said on TV that Obama did indeed discuss this with the Governor. Obama of course then threw Axlerod under the bus and said David misspoke. Tell the truth the Governor wanted Obama to take part in this scheme or at least give him a favor in exchange for selecting Obama's friend to the Senate. Obama should have told the truth but I don't think he knows the truth if it bit him in the ass.
Chicago Politics are going to be examined for the next four years. I suspect that Obama's hands are not clean even though the media or others can claim that is a case. He has played to dirty in his campaigns for him not to be a crook or a conman.
The governor should resign and allow the Lt Governor make the selection as any selection that he picks is going to have problems and would not get reelected in two years.

Why won't Senator Obama produce his colb as is required by the United States Constitution. This is a very good article about Sarah Palin being a Pittsburgh girl and I have to agree with him. Pittsburgh is full of hard working, blue collar good sense people who are very friendly.
The very people that should have supported Sarah because she was a woman were strangely quiet when she was hit with sexism by not only the media but also the Democrats and the Obama campaign. The first debate is over and put to bed. John McCain was the clear winner of that debate despite a few stumbles in the beginning. ACORN has a voter registeration drive that goes into low income African American and Hispanic neighborhoods to register them. This benefits the Democrats. This year ACORN endorsed Obama during the Primary and could get quite aggressive.

Barack Obama was born in Hawaii but he became a duel citizen of Kenya around the same time because his father registered him there.
There is also some suspicion that Obama is also a citizen of Indonesia and even traveled to Pakistan in 1981 with a Indonesia passport. Indonesia doesn't recognize dual citizenship and The US constitution states that anyone running for POTUS be only a Citizen of the USA. They have to be born here and hold no ties to any other Country.

Harry Reid, the Senate Majority Leader, who earned himself a lot of enemies in the Democratic Party by threatening Democrats leaning for Hillary. He is now probley kicking himself since Obama refuses to share any money with the Down ticket Democrats. Obama raised 77 million dollars but since he refused to accept matching funds he must continue to raise money. McCain cannot do that but he has money in the bank from the matching funds. Obama's fifty state stradagy is not doing so well either and he has to pull out of a lot of the red states. McCain in the mean time has a shot at NJ, NY, California, and other blue states and he is now winning all four of the battlegrounds. I expect this to only get worse once the October attack hits the Obama campaign. Obama is trying to play dirty now but the Republicans are experts at this.
This farce called the 2008 Democratic Party is about to come to a firey end.

The DNC Reform group are former Hillary supporters who were activity working to secure the nomination for Senator Hillary Clinton. They have decided to endorse John McCain over the Democratic nominee Barack Obama.

Some of us met with McCain's people and some of us met with Obama's people. McCain picked Sarah and Obama picked Joe. Does that tell you who listened to a voting block of 18 million voters? Obama's tax plan is a disaster. He is raising taxes and trying to get a program for low income workers something like the Earned Income Tax Credit. That is a program why do we need two programs that are alike. We need to tighten up our belts a little now because the economy is not doing so well. Of course we have a rock star as the Democratic Nominiee.
The whole problem with this plan is he didn't have Hillary to steal from so the inexperienced empty suit didn't know how to write a plan. Who is he going to watch if he is elected. I have no idea how come the DNC did this to the American people. They have to had lost their minds. The Obama/Biden team is attacking McCain because he can't use email nor can he comb his own hair. Obama/Biden says that he can't do this because he is not computer savvy when the truth is. To hear the pundits and from the comments I have received at several of my blogs I would have to say the Obama campaign is worried about not only Sarah Palin but the other issues he is supposed to be on the right side of. He says he is for the equal pay law and McCain is against it. McCain voted no because their was no statue of limitations on the bill. That makes sense to me.
How do they pay their female staff members as opposed to how they pay their males.
McCain pays his female staff members more then a dollar more then he pays his males and he hires more of them. Out of his five top wage earners three of them are women.
Obama pays his females less money and only has one out of five top wage earners. He also hires less women.
Sometimes actions speak louder then words.

You can clearly see Obama making fun of McCain's arm that was injured when he was tortured in a POW camp in Vietnam. McCain spent five years in a Prison of War because he was defending this Country. McCain spent 22 years in the Navy five of which was spent in a POW camp where he was tortured. Obama who never served anyone other then his own selfish needs makes fun of a war hero. He does this all the time especially when he is losing.

McCain has moved into the lead in PA. He is up by five points. Zogby has turned PA from blue to purple. PA is my state and this news makes me happy. Obama's numbers on the polls are usually higher then what he actually wins so it is possible that McCain is ahead by more then 5 points.
This state is not a liberal state and arrogant politicians are not popular here. I think McCain may take Allegheny County and if he wins that county then he will win the state.

Obama wants to raise taxes and he wants to restore the old system of welfare. This is not a good idea as the rules denied marriage to these folks without losing their benefits. This caused a large majority of poor women to have babies without husbands. You weren't allowed to work because if you did you lost your benefits (medicaid and food stamps). A lot of people needed health care for their kids or themselves. You couldn't own a home so you never had a chance to improve you life. Welfare was horrible. Shame on you Barack Obama.

This picture of McCain and Obama and how they put the roses on the crypt at ground zero. McCain chose to gently lay the rose down on the crypt like most people do to show respect for the dead. Obama chose to toss his rose on the crypt which a lot of people including me are offended by such a show of disrespect for the people who died in the worst terrorist attack in US History. Obama followed closely McCain's actions but for some reason he did not wait to see how McCain put the rose down. Now if Senator Obama must relay on the actions of others before he knows the correct way to act. Perhaps the job of commander and chief would be above his pay grade. Things are looking up for the Republicans thanks in part to the anger over the Democratic Nomination and also because John McCain made a very good choice and both united his base and stealing a great deal of Obama's base. Well actually McCain didn't steal Obama's base Obama drove his base away from him. Palin's pick energized the McCain campaign and has also energized women. They have become very popular.
The down tickets in the Democratic Party forgot one basic rule that you are only as strong as the top of the ticket. They were promised money that never materialized because Obama is very selfish. He is not interested in the down tickets. He is also getting beaten by McCain which is also causing problems for the Democrats. He made a wrong choice and the DNC selected a big loser so now they are going to pay the price.
