KANSAS CITY PAPER CALLS MCCAIN A RACIST FOR CALLING OBAMA A SOCIALIST. DID I MISS SOMETHING?

The Kansas City paper accused McCain of being racist because he continues to call Obama a socialist. The paper said that he must be racist because in the 50s a lot of black people were called Socialist. This is incorrect a lot of famous black people like Martin Luther King and Paul Robeson were called Communists not socialists.
The Kansas City article makes no sense to me as most African Americans are conservatives. I do not know anyone who are socialists.
I think the Racist term is being tossed around and we take a chance that real racism gets ignored and made to be trivial which it is not. Obama has been doing this since January and may backfire in ways he and the rest of America had no clue would happen.

We Hillary supporters tried to warn America that the Socialists took over the Democratic Party and planned on taking over the White House and taking away all of our rights.
Obama is against the Second Amendment, he is against the Fourth Amendment, and he is really taking people's civil liberties with the First Amendment.
He wants big Government to have more control over our lives then we have over our lives.
Hillary tried to tell everyone not to trust him but no one listened to her except her supporters and Sean Hannity.
