Things are looking up for the Republicans thanks in part to the anger over the Democratic Nomination and also because John McCain made a very good choice and both united his base and stealing a great deal of Obama's base. Well actually McCain didn't steal Obama's base Obama drove his base away from him. Palin's pick energized the McCain campaign and has also energized women. They have become very popular.
The down tickets in the Democratic Party forgot one basic rule that you are only as strong as the top of the ticket. They were promised money that never materialized because Obama is very selfish. He is not interested in the down tickets. He is also getting beaten by McCain which is also causing problems for the Democrats. He made a wrong choice and the DNC selected a big loser so now they are going to pay the price.
