SARAH PALIN SPEAKS AT THE CONVENTION. SHE IS A HUGE SUCESS.

Sarah Palin the new Vice President candidate spoke tonight at the convention. She slammed Obama several times pointing out that being a Mayor was like his being a Community Activist but only with responsibility. That was excellent. She also gave it back to the press and the pundits by saying that she isn't going to Washington to please them but to work for the American people. She reminded me of Hillary Clinton. I loved the pit bull remark "The only difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull is lipstick." That is a classic line. She has really a similar speaking style to Senator Clinton that she should really pull in a lot of Hillary supporters and the fact is that she is a conservative who seems to excite McCain's base. I was hoping he would pick a conservative so they become energized and he seemed to really do that. He actually pleased two very different groups of people by giving them both something they wanted.
I will pay the Republicans a compliment they do seem to back each other. I respect that.
