Coal is a very important part of Pennsylvania's culture and its economy. Joe Biden's remarks were offensive to people here in PA.
This is a must win for Obama if he wants to win the White House. He already insulted this state during the Primary with his bitter and clinging remarks. The coal remark just added salt to the wounds.
Obama knew that Joe has a big mouth and that he is always putting his foot into his mouth yet he chose him anyway. He has to now live with that remark.
Obama must win both Philadelphia and Allegheny County to win the state. I do not see him winning Allegheny County because of the blue class workers and women. I think that Allegheny County can belong to McCain if he plays his cards right.
People here do not like people who are elitist like Obama and Biden.
