Barack had two different groups of people that he represented in Chicago and that was either rich or middle class black people or poor people from the hood. He was great to the rich and middle class while he allowed rich friends of his take over the management of several low income housing projects which ended up in disaster for the people that live there.
One building had no heat and the other one was polluted with rats and roaches. The tenants say that Barack knew what was going on but since they were all poor he didn't care about them. This is how Barack is. If he can't use you he has no use for you. He is like all the other slum lords that I have met in my life he only cares about money and not people.
I disagree with him and this story illustrates why the government does better managing public housing projects then private individuals. I know because I lived in one. The County lost a law suit and had to remodel the projects and they did. The people loved them and 12 years later they look better then they did when they were first finished. The tenants have pride in where they live and the management has the cooperation that it needs from the residents.
